Somewhere to begin. People to grow with.

Tgirl Club began with a human need: to feel welcome, find encouragement and have somewhere to express yourself without having to explain everything first.
Founded by Alix Watts, the club brings that purpose into nights out, practical learning and the small conversations that help people feel less alone.
Why the Welcome Matters
For someone presenting publicly for the first time, the hardest part may happen before the music starts. It can be choosing an outfit, planning how to travel or wondering what will happen at the door.
That is why our welcome includes practical things: somewhere to change, hostesses at the venue to welcome you, a tour of the room and introductions if you want them. Confidence can begin with knowing what to expect.
One Community, More Than One Way to Take Part
The monthly Tgirl & Admirers Night is our most visible invitation. Behind it sits the same wish to make connection possible through classes, volunteering and information about support.
Not everyone wants a big night out. Some people arrive through a skill they want to learn or a question they want to ask. Those routes belong here too.
Led by People Who Give Their Time
Tgirl Club is a volunteer-led collective. The welcome depends on people sharing their time and skills, whether they are meeting someone at the door or helping an activity run smoothly.
We value lived experience without assuming everyone’s story is the same. You choose what to share, the words you use for yourself and the pace at which you take part.
Meet the Hostesses
Meet the volunteers behind the welcome and some of the people who help our events and activities run.
Our volunteer hostesses help turn an unfamiliar room into somewhere you can begin to feel at ease. They can answer practical questions, offer a tour and help you meet other guests if you want to.

Hostess
Alix
Alix is the guiding force behind Tgirl Club, inspired by a passion to create the kind of welcoming community she herself once struggled to find. Her vision is to provide a safe, friendly space where every Tgirl can arrive knowing there is someone there to welcome them, show them around, answer their questions, and reassure them that they are among like-minded people.
You’ll find Alix at every Tgirl & Admirers night, offering her experience, encouragement, and support to anyone who needs it. Whether you’re taking your first nervous steps or simply looking for a friendly face, Alix is there to make sure you feel welcome, comfortable, and part of the community.

Hostess
Matilda
Matilda is a truly wonderful soul who loves expressing herself through her unique kink-inspired style. Latex and hoods are among her favourites, but don’t let that fool you—she’s there to help make your night every bit as fabulous as you are.
As a workplace LGBT+ advocate with a strong understanding of psychology, Matilda can offer thoughtful, practical support that goes beyond simply reassuring someone who may be feeling nervous, uncertain, or isolated. She understands the emotions that can come with exploring your identity and presentation for the first time, and is always happy to share her experience, encouragement, and advice.

Hostess
Maddie
Maddie is relatively new to presenting as a T-girl herself, giving her a unique perspective and a natural understanding of the difficulties, uncertainties, and worries that newcomers may experience when exploring their own presentation.
Although her journey as a T-girl is relatively recent, Maddie is no stranger to the LGBT+ community, having had LGBT+ friends throughout her life.
Maddie is also proud of the way she has embraced her own identity—openly, unashamedly, and with dignity—and is always happy to share her experiences with anyone who might find them helpful.
And when she’s not supporting the community, you’ll often find Maddie in the kitchen, happily making jam!

Hostess
Chelle
Chelle is on her own journey through transition and understands first-hand the emotions, challenges, and uncertainties that can come with it. Her lived experience gives her a genuine understanding of the issues that members of the trans community may face, allowing her to offer thoughtful and informed support.
With a Master’s degree in Psychology, Chelle works in the public sector supporting people with a wide range of mental health needs, including neurodivergent individuals. Her professional experience involves providing practical, day-to-day support tailored to the needs of each person she works with.
Compassionate, empathetic, and approachable, Chelle is someone who understands the value of a kind word and a listening ear.
