Health & Wellbeing

Clear information. Respectful support. Help finding the right care.

You deserve to ask health questions without being judged. This page helps our community in Greater Manchester find reliable health information and appropriate services, whether you want to arrange a routine check or understand where to seek support.

Tgirl Club’s volunteers offer community support and signposting. They do not diagnose conditions, interpret test results, prescribe medicines or provide clinical treatment. This information is not personalised medical advice.

Who Provides What?

  • Tgirl Club volunteers: Practical information, peer welcome, event support and help finding published resources.
  • Safer-sex supplies: Tgirl Club and GH Events provides sealed condoms and lubricant at our events while stocks are available. These are provided free as practical safer-sex supplies and are not a medication service.
  • Qualified healthcare professionals: Assessment, testing, interpretation of results, prescribing, vaccination and treatment through their own services.
  • Future partner sessions: Any confirmed listing would name the clinical provider, service offered, booking route and confidentiality arrangements. No provider or clinic date is confirmed at this time.

Sexual-Health Testing

You can contact an NHS sexual health clinic directly. Clinics offer services such as STI and HIV testing, and can advise which tests and timing are appropriate for your circumstances. Mental Health and Community Connection

Feeling isolated, worried or uncertain can make everyday things harder. A conversation with another community member may offer connection, but peer support is different from counselling or treatment.

For ongoing concerns, a GP or an appropriate mental-health service can help you explore professional support. You can also ask us where to find published information about local LGBT+ community groups. You do not need to disclose a diagnosis to ask for a link. NHS mental health services.
